Data de publicació: 15-04-2026

Once again, exceptional figures for Catalan-language radio in the first EGM of the year. RAC1 reaches 1,098,000 listeners, achieving its fourth consecutive record across the last four EGM waves. Catalunya Ràdio records 696,000 listeners.

The data from the first wave of the General Media Study (EGM) show a new record and the clear leadership of Catalan-language radio compared to one year ago. RAC1 has 1,098,000 listeners (1,001,000 a year ago). Catalunya Ràdio has 696,000 (716,000 a year ago). In third place is Cadena SER with 450,000 (386,000).

The most listened-to and leading program, which also sets a new record, is “El Món a RAC1” with Jordi Basté, with 809,000 listeners (774,000 a year ago), followed by “El Matí de Catalunya Ràdio” hosted by Ricard Ustrell with 457,000 (503,000 a year ago). “Hoy por Hoy” on SER has 271,000 (245,000 last year).

RAC105 also increases its audience, reaching 215,000 (173,000 a year ago). Matina, Codina! with Ernest Codina has 113,000 (108,000), and Ja tardes with Enric Font has 74,000 (53,000).

It should also be noted that the real consumption figure for Catalan-language radio is higher, as these numbers do not include the audiences of other stations broadcasting in Catalan, whether national, local, thematic, or generalist.
