The Statutes of RÀDIO ASSOCIACIÓ DE CATALUNYA, SCCL, include, in their Second Article, the object of the entity:

“RÀDIO ASSOCIACIÓ DE CATALUNYA", a Catalan limited cooperative society, which continues the spirit of the one founded in 1935, aims to contribute on the basis of a voluntary community:

a) the spiritual, social and economic improvement of the country, through broadcasting and other similar means of communication;

b) the most effective deployment of these, managing, in close cooperation with public authorities, private entities and individuals, those concessions and reforms that are considered legally necessary, and sponsoring, in general, all kinds of initiatives that may favor the interests of citizens in the Catalan linguistic area through RÀDIO ASSOCIACIÓ DE CATALUNYA, Societat Cooperativa Catalana Limitada.
